Registration of Spanish Patents
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) defines a patent as an exclusive right granted by an intervention that provides a technical solution to a problem or a way or doing something that implies an improvement on the already-known.
To be patentable, an invention should meet the following requirements:
- Novelty
- Inventiveness
- Industrial Application
If you own a patent you have the right to decide how to and who can make use of it during the protection period.
INGENIAS can act as the professional representative of your patents before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM).
